Canadian Wealth Platforms Sign Partnership

Conquest Planning, a technology platform, is partnering with fellow Canadian platform Wealthsimple, a business holding more than $18 billion in assets.

Wealthsimple’s Generation clients will be able to use Conquest’s planning tools. Wealthsimple’s portfolio management team can use Conquest’s Strategic Advice Manager, an AI-powered offering that allows them to illustrate how different scenarios affect clients’ goals and recommends what they should do.

"This partnership is another way we're raising the bar for our clients by giving them greater insights into their full financial picture and finding opportunities to help them reach their goals faster," Paul Teshima, chief client experience officer at Wealthsimple, said.

The partnership follows a $24 million Series A fundraising round at Conquest.

Established in 2018, Conquest Planning was founded by a team of financial technology veterans. Toronto-based Wealthsimple was established in 2014.
